The Pennsylvania Department of Education unveiled a new grading system to measure students, teachers and schools.

The "School Performance Profile" will replace the state's old system of gauging adademic progress.  The new system is based on attendance, participation in standardized testing, and graduation rates instead of just looking at student exam scores in math and reading. School profiles will be publicly available and will be a part of staff evaluations.
