ALTOONA, BLAIR COUNTY -- Dozens of folks are going to be out this weekend building a new playground, and they could use your help.
Prospect park is expanding. The new playground is being built by the Booker T. Washington Revitalization Corps.
It will be handicap accessible and include sections for children from 3-5 years old and another for 5-12 year olds, but that's not all.
Kathy Plunkett, president of the revitalization corps said, "There's an eight foot rock climbing wall. It's going to be pretty impressive. Nothing like this has been in this town before. "
They'll be out working on Saturday from 8 AM until 5 PM and ask people of all skill levels to come and help. They hope to have the park finished sometime in July.
