Multiple People Injured In Tour Bus Crash

CENTERVILLE, BEDFORD COUNTY - Update: At least 27 people were injured when a tour bus crashed Sunday afternoon in Centerville, Bedford County.

Bedford County 911 confirms the crash happened around 2:30 Sunday afternoon along Route 220.

According to a hospital spokesperson, 15 people were taken to Western Maryland Health System with minor injuries.

A spokesperson at UPMC Bedford confirms seven people have been taken there, with one man suffering from serious injuries. They are expecting seven more patients as well. The ages of the victims range from 49-70 years old.

The bus is owned by Freedom Excursions, based out of Altoona.

No other details of the crash were immediately released.
