Miftakhov Pleads Guilty in Federal Court

JOHNSTOWN - The former Penn State Altoona student accused of possessing bomb making materials has plead guilty in a federal court in Johnstown. Vladislav Miftakhov made a deal to plead guilty to one count of knowingly manufacturing explosives. His attorneys are hopeful the teen will serve 18 to 24 months under the agreement. The maximum sentence is 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine. Sentencing is scheduled for December 11.
