Mental Health Awareness Week

PENN STATE, UNIVERSITY PARK - This week is Mental Health Awareness Week at Penn State.

Several activities will be held on the university's main campus to promote awareness, including sessions on stress and anxiety and eating disorders.

The awareness week is held each year to promote mental health safety on campus.

Here is a full list of this week's schedule:

Eating Disorders: Stacy Nadeau, from the Dove Real Beauty Campaign, will speak at the HUB at 6:00 p.m.

LGBTA is hosting a body image workshop in 101 Boucke at 8 p.m.

Depression and Suicide: Penn State's chapter of Active Minds will host a group panel at 5:00 p.m. in the HUB

Health Relationships: Kevin Breel, a Mental Health Activist, will speak in 22 Deike at 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. with a Q&A session.
