Man Tries to Sell $18K Worth of Heroin

BELLEFONTE, CENTRE COUNTY - A man with over $18,000 worth of heroin in his car is found guilty of possession with intent to sell.

Al-Mumin Diaz was found guilty on all charges Friday, including one count of felony possession with intent to deliver heroin.

On January 24, while conducting a a routine traffic stop on Diaz's car, State Police found about 600 bags of heroin in Diaz's trunk, along with an ounce of Marijuana, Oxycodone and 19 capsules of Methylone aka "Molly."

Police also found a cashier's check for $14,873.28, four cell phones and $1114 in cash.

Police say the heroin has a street value of close to $18,000.

Diaz is scheduled to be sentenced October 18. He faces five years in prison and a $30,000 fine.
