BELLEFONTE, CENTRE COUNTY – A 32-year-old man has been found guilty of assault after pointing a gun at an officer in September 2013.

When Ferguson Township Police arrived at a home along Zorich Road responding to a domestic dispute, 32-year-old James Scholl answered the door and pointed a handgun at one of the officers.

Police say they had to wrestle the weapon away from Scholl. His sentencing is scheduled for May 8th.
