Man arrested following shooting

CONEMAUGH TOWNSHIP, SOMERSET COUNTY, Pa. - One man was arrested last night following a police involved shooting.

State Police in Somerset assisted the Somerset County Drug Task Force with a controlled buy and bust. Following the buy, two State Police Troopers attempted to intercept the vehicle involved at the intersection of Greenhouse Road and State Road 403.

In the process, one of the troopers hit the drivers side of the car driven by 25-year old Mbazulwane Gxuluwe, who then in attempting to escape, rammed the second trooper's car. One of the troopers fired his gun, hitting the car.

Gxuluwe wasn't injured, he was taken into custody and is facing charges.
