BELLEFONTE, CENTRE COUNTY - A man who plead guilty to shooting his dog withdrew his plea Thursday morning.

Barry Grove, from Karthus, allegedly shot his dog, Anne, back in April.

His neighbors heard a gunshot and saw the dog in distress just outside her house. Troopers were forced to euthanize the dog because of the severity of the gunshot wounds.

Grove will now face a jury trial. The jury will be selected December 2nd, with a January or February trial date.
