Longtime DuBois airport employee honored

DuBois, Clearfield County, Pa. - A very special honor was given to a man for his work at a local airport on Friday. The day was designated as "Bob Schaffer is the long standing manager at the Dubois Regional airport. Schaffer was honored for 30 years of outstanding work from county and airport officials.

Although he' been the manager there for three decades- Schaffer says he continues to help out the airport anyway he can. "I go out and plow snow on an annual basis during the wintertime to supplement our crews. I plan to go out and cut grass next week, so. Whether it's that or administrative, it's always interesting to come to work. I enjoy it." 

The day was continued on after celebrations, as the regularly scheduled airport authority meeting was held.
