ALTOONA, BLAIR COUNTY - Three people were arrested Wednesday morning after authorities discovered a meth lab inside a residence along North 5th Avenue.

Police say they were called to 127 North 5th Avenue around 7 a.m. Wednesday for a domestic disturbance. When police arrived, Philip Shultz and Scott Perkins fled the home and into the garage. Police say they discovered meth on the pair in the garage. Upon further investigation authorities discovered Philip Shultz is on probation.

A third person, Misty Shultz, was also arrested. The three were charged with Operating a Methamphetamine Lab and Manufacturing a Controlled Substance among other charges.

A team from the Pennsylvania State Police and Attorney General's Office was in the house much of Wednesday removing evidence from the home. Police say they were using a "one pot method" of making the drug. Police labs are testing some of the chemicals found inside the home.
