ALTOONA - Some local elementary school students went under the dome Wednesday as part of a new learning program.
Ebner Elementary School students got the chance to head inside the Dome Theater Immersive Learning program for a rare interactive lesson. The program encourages active participation and collaboration between students and parents.
"It's a wonderful for way for them to engage with science and technology.  It's exciting. It's interactive. They share obviously this experience with their parents and it's a chance for parents to experience it with their children tonight," Ebner Elementary School Principal Melissa Peppetti says.
All of the elementary school classes grades K-6 were able to take part in the 30 minute program.
