Keystone Kitchen: Doritos Chicken Fingers

Doritos Crusted Chicken Fingers Recipe:


4 boneless skinless chicken breasts or chicken tender.

1 large bag of Doritos, nacho flavor

2 cups of buttermilk

2 cups of flour

4 eggs



Cut the chicken into thin ½ inch strips. (if you're using chicken breasts)

Place the chicken in a bowl and pour in the buttermilk so the chicken is covered in it.

Place the chicken in the fridge for 2 hours.

Crush the Doritos into crumb size pieces and set aside in a large bowl.

Place flour in another bowl

Scramble your eggs into another bowl. (add salt and pepper if desired)

Preheat oven to 400F.

Spray a baking sheet with non- stick cooking spray.

Set up the four bowls in order: 1. chicken, 2.  flour, 3.  eggs,  4. bowl with the crushed Doritos.

Using a fork, lift out a chicken strips and let excess buttermilk drain off.

Place it  in the flour turning it, so it's covered.

Lift the chicken out of the flour and shake off any excess.

Then place it in the egg wash and turn till it's evenly coated in egg.

Lift them out of the egg and cover in the crushed Doritos.

Place the coated chicken finger on the baking sheet.

Do this with the remaining chicken strips.

Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes, turning halfway through.

Serve with your favorite dipping sauce!
