BROOKVILLE, JEFFERSON COUNTY - Two juveniles, from Brookville, are being charged with transmission of sexually explicit images by a minor.

Brookville Borough Police say between February and March they conducted an investigation into the juveniles allegedly  sending nude or explicit photos of themselves to other people. They are being charged.

In 2012, Pennsylvania passed a law making "sexting" illegal for anyone under the age of 18 to do. The crime is punishable by fines and/or community service. It could result in jail time if someone is convicted of spreading a nude photo of someone else without permission.
