Johnstown stabbing arrest made

Johnstown, Cambria County, Pa - An arrest has been made in connection to a Johnstown stabbing.

Detectives say suspect Tesia Nelson got into an argument with the victim outside of her home in the 600 block of wood street just before midnight on July 26. The victim of the stabbing allegedly punched Nelson who then grabbed a knife from inside her house and stabbed the victim in the chest when he approached her again.

The victim was picked up near the intersection of Ash and McMillen Streets and taken to the hospital for surgery. He is reported to be in stable condition.

Nelson was taken to the Cambria County Jail and is facing several charges including aggravated assault.
