JOHNSTOWN, CAMBRIA COUNTY – Students in the Greater Johnstown School District will have an extra four days of school in June due to the harsh winter.

The school board approved the move to push the final day of school to June 6th from June 2nd earlier this week. High school graduation has also been pushed back to June 6, and will still take place at the Cambria County War Memorial Arena.

Superintendent Gerald Zahorchak said the district lost more than four days to snow, but the difference was made up by reducing the number of days off during the holidays.
