It's called the Jared Box Project. The project is people putting together a basket of toys to give to kids fighting cancer. It started in State College in 2001, in honor of five-year old Jared, who lost his battle with brain cancer. Since then, the project has spread to over 39 states, with more than 100,000 boxes already made. The Central Pennsylvania Youth Orchestra in State College is collecting Jared Boxes this Sunday at their winter concert.
