Hospital operations return to normal after alleged bomb threat

Somerset, Somerset County, Pa. - The Somerset Hospital, in Somerset County was alerted about a bomb threat Thursday, around 5 p.m.
 
Upon investigation, it was revealed that the phone number from which the call was made, was traced back to a personal care facility in Richland Township, Cambria County, by a patient who was recently discharged from the hospital.
 
Police were able to locate that patient, who claimed he alerted the hospital after allegedly hearing two men "discussing plans to place a bomb in a hospital."
 
The threat however, was false.
