Homicide Suspect Spotted in Virginia

MANASSAS, VIRGINIA – The suspect in a Johnstown shooting was spotted in Prince William County, Virginia Thursday.

According to the Prince William County Police Department Facebook page Earl Patrick Mitchell fled from Manassas City police following a pursuit which ended in the area of the Prince William Parkway and Tattersall Drive.

Mitchell is wanted in the shooting death of Jareek Adams January 25th in the Oakhurst section of Johnstown.

Police consider Mitchell to be possibly armed and dangerous. Schools in that area have been notified to take precautions. Police say he was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, and black and white shoes.
