Fraternity Assault

STATE COLLEGE - A family is offering a reward for information after their son was assaulted.

State College Police say a 19 year old man was hit in the face twice at a party being held in the basement of Delta Sigma fraternity.

The incident happened on August 27th.

The victim was flown to UPMC Altoona and then transferred to UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh where he underwent immediate surgery.

Police say the 19 year old had facial fractures and eye injuries.

Police say the man who attacked the victim is unknown at this time.

The family of the victim is offering at $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
