Former Johnstown hockey player found dead

Dave Gove, 38 who played 54 games for the Johnstown Chiefs during the 2001-2002 season was found dead in Pittsburgh of an apparent drug overdose.

Gove also played for the Pittsburgh Penguins AHL affiliate, Wilkes Barre Scranton Penguins, and also spent parts of last season coaching the Wheeling Nailers of the ECHL.

He was reportedly found dead Wednesday at a Pittsburgh rehabilitation center.
