In Bedford County, many of the roads were clear earlier on Friday. Some people were dealing with flooded yards and cleaning out. Families aren't the only ones out assessing damage -- PennDOT was out today, and they say they've been seeing more severe rains than they were expecting.
David Kammerer, the Assistant Blair County Manager, said, “The real cost comes from the cleanup. If we've got mud and debris we have to cleanup we've got to get our heavier equipment out there."
PennDOT says they've even had to put plows on some trucks to clean off road debris from these heavy rains.
