The Friday family reunion has been going on at the same place every year since 1914.
Susie O’Brien, the reunion organizer, said, "It was important to the four brothers that their family came here once a year so their family would know one another.”
Once a year, young and old come together -- including the oldest male Friday at the reunion.
John Alehner, who is 86 years old, said "1928 I didn't come, 1929 from then on through -- I've been here every year."
In the age of social media, you may think the end of face-to-face communication is near, but if the Fridays are any indication -- it's here to say.
Adam Zook, who is 16 years old, said, "We all want to see each other. You know, it's all about tradition here."
"If you know anything about a Friday, they love to talk and so they have no problem conversing,” said O’Brien.
No problem talking, and no problem taking family photos year after year.
"You can have all the money you want in your pocket, but if you don't have family, you don't have wealth,” said O’Brein.
There will be a 101st Friday family reunion right here next year.
