Expired registration leads to resisting arrest charge

CRESSON, CAMBRIA COUNTY – A 20-year-old Cresson man was arrested Wednesday evening after he allegedly tried to take off from police.

Cresson Police initially pulled Thomas Franco over for an expired registration. Police say they questioned Franco after seeing marijuana in the car. According to police Franco became aggressive, eventually took off and was caught.

Franco is facing Escape, Resisting Arrest and multiple drug charges.
