Easter egg exhibit at Bellefonte Art Museum

Bellefonte, Centre County, Pa. - An exhibit at a Centre County museum will make you feel like you're walking on eggshells!

Bellefonte Art Museum has an display featuring eggs designed by Mark Ivcic.

Visitors can take advantage of the Ukrainian-inspired art form and learn how to make similar designs.

Ivcic said he learned the art form from his late aunt, who learned it from family members from past generations.

He also said it can take up to six hours to design one egg!

Lori Fisher, Bellefonte Art Museum's gallery manager, said having this type of exhibit keeps with the spirit of the season.

"We thought it was a great way to celebrate the Easter holiday and bring in another art form in a way for people to appreciate the arts here in our area," Fisher said.

Artist Mark Ivcic will be on hand at the Bellefonte Art Museum on Sunday, April 9 from 1 to 4 p.m.

The exhibit runs until Easter, April 16.
