DuBois Police show act of kindess towards the homeless

DuBois, Clearfield County, Pa. - The DuBois city police say they received a call of concerned about the well being of a man near East DuBois Avenue over weekend. As the pulled up to the area, police say they found a man who was homeless. 

The officers officers declined to be interviewed and wanted to remain anonymous, but they tell WTAJ they took the man to Sheetz for a meal. According to DuBois PD, one of the officers bought the man a gift card to buy food in the upcoming days. 

The department then housed the man in the DuBois hotel for the night, so he had a safe place to sleep.
