HOLLIDAYSBURG, BLAIR COUNTY - Saturday was Drug Take Back day across Pennsylvania and the country.

People lined up from early on to drop off their old prescriptions at the State Police Barracks in Hollidaysburg. They gathered up bags and boxes of pills.

There were other sites across the region, but Trooper Dave McGarvey say this is one of the busiest. And they’re happy to take care of the pills so they don’t end up down the drain or sitting in people’s homes tempting thieves.

These pills will be incinerated so that no one can get the pills or anyone’s names from them.
