ALTOONA, BLAIR COUNTY - Coroners across Pennsylvania are putting together information on every drug overdose death in their county. That information is going into a state-wide database to help law enforcement fight the drug war.

Blair County Coroner Patty Ross has been filling out these coroner drug overdose death reports since 2012. Recently the State Attorney General's Office requested each of the reports go into a state database. And prosecutors and police can then use that tool.

Duncansville Police Chief Jim Ott says it will help different law enforcement agencies work together on cases. And build cases to arrest the dealers.

And Ross says the reports are already a success at doing that.
