The center’s executive director says the move from their old Fraser Street location will help them save money as social service programs are under some pressure to raise funds.
“It’s cozy, it’s kind of a home environment,” said executive director Bonnie Tatterson. “It’s less elbow room than we had, but I think the expenses, the difference in expenses will make the move worth it. I think everybody’s going to be happy here.”
The center is drop-in and has an emergency food pantry on-site. Their hotline number is 1-800-494-2500.
