"This region obviously and important area,” said Governor Tom Corbett (R) Pennsylvania. ”You know, I was in Somerset last night and this morning, I'm on my way to over Centre Hall to the Grange in that area, and coming through here."
So is there a reason for the governor's number of visits? If you ask voters, they don't seem to notice the amount of time he's spending here.
"I think a lot of people expressed some displeasure with what he's done and so I think he really needs to make his presence everywhere that he can, especially in a republican community so he can keep those votes," Nany Imes, of Martisburg.
Corbett's democratic challenger Tom Wolf has made a few stops in our region during this campaign as well.
Voters say they seem to follow each other, and that keeping score before Election Day, doesn't matter.
"Everybody tries to rely to heavily on polls and my feeling is the only poll that counts is the Election Day poll," said Andrew Soccio, of Williamsburg.
Wolf is leading the governor in the latest polls. However, numbers are showing Corbett narrowing the gap.
