Body of man found

Morris Township, Clearfield County, Pa. - State Police are continuing their investigation into the death of a Philipsburg man.

Police say they believe the death of the Brett Mamat, 36, is suspicious, but also stated there is no threat to the public.

Monday night around 8:30, Police were called to a home on Bass Lane in Morris Township, Clearfield County.

That's where troopers found the body of Bamat.  They believe the 36 year old died from a gun shot wound.  

Police still investigating exactly what happened.

The deputy coroner tells WTAJ an autopsy is scheduled for 2 o'clock Tuesday.
