DUBOIS - Trooper Bradley Wilson remains at UPMC Pittsburgh, but is getting better.

The area he served is now planning a benefit for him.

The VFW in DuBois will host a steak dinner fundraiser on Sunday, October 20th, starting at noon.

All proceeds will go toward Trooper Wilson and his medical expenses.

He was shot and seriously injured while serving a warrant in Brockway, Jefferson County on September 26th.

The suspected shooter later killed himself.
