Bishop Carroll Catholic High School in Ebensburg will be hosting 25 Asian students next school year. The program started five years ago with five students, but word spread quickly. All the students live in a building on campus. And at the end of their time, the school hopes they learn to adjust to life in our area.
"They are going to learn respect because we are all very different, yet we respect one another,” said Rasha Shawarby, an English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher at Bishop Carrol.
She says so many decided to come there because the school is rated as one of the 50 best Catholic schools.
