AMED stuffs the ambulance

Logan Township, Blair County, Pa. - Folks with AMED collected special school items for a good cause Saturday.

The crew was set up at the Logan Town Center for their third annual 'Stuff the Ambulance' event.

They were collecting new school supplies and backpacks to donate to the United Way of Blair County.

Organizers say it's important to make sure all Blair County boys and girls have what they need to get through the school day.

"I mean I know  as a dad of three girls it can be hard to sometimes supply the most basic of necessities when it comes to school, like clothes, especially the back to school supplies. So any donation helps" said Matthew Feigh.

Donations will be accepted by the United Way of Blair County until August 3rd.

Anyone looking to register for the 'Stuff the Bus' program for school supplies must register at the United way by August 3rd as well.
