The parking that's in question is for those fans who require handicapped parking.
For many years, the ADA parking lot has been behind the intramural building. Fans had the choice to either walk or take a shuttle over to Beaver Stadium.
Now, because of construction, the ADA lot has been moved to Innovation Park where walking won't be an option.
"It's not fair. It's like they don't want us to be seen," Anita Bender, of Altoona, said. "The further away, the better for the handicap people."
Bender isn't happy.
"They sold me those tickets under the misconception that I was going to be parking where I always parked," she said.
Bender has breathing difficulties and for years, has parked with an ADA permit behind the IM building on campus for football weekends.
This year, her family even bought season tickets because they've enjoyed the atmosphere so much.
Bender said she didn't know those spots would be changed.
"They've taken us from a 1/2 mile from the stadium and are throwing us a mile and a half further out," she said.
You can see on this map, fans with ADA Parking passes will now be parked near Innovation Park.
"We will be removed totally from the whole Penn State atmosphere," Dana Sherry, of Altoona, said. "That's what you want to be in. You enjoy it, you make friends down there and you tailgate. This is where you want to be and part of the whole Penn State experience."
Sherry is mad, too. She's had three spinal surgeries and has trouble walking.
"We should not be punished just because we have a slight disability," she said. "Most of the people that are there are older and have been there for 30, 35, 40 years and now they're being punished."
"The first home game is in two weeks. We got season tickets this year just for this purpose, to have that experience, to be able to be close to the stadium," Bender said. "I probably won't go to many of the games this year, if I got to any of them."
Penn State released a statement saying on-campus construction has limited the amount of parking spots for game days.
They said they're working to find other options for those who need ADA accessible parking.
