JOHNSTOWN, CAMBRIA COUNTY - The first pitch was thrown in the AAABA National Tournament in Johnstown.
Thousands of people will be in the stands over the next few days, and for local business that's great because they're all eating and staying in town.

George Arcurio III is the President of the AAABA and the Johnstown Old Timers Baseball Association. He says the tournament will generate one to two million dollars this week.

The Point Pub is just across the street from Point Stadium where the tournament is played every year. He has signs out front welcoming in fans. He says it is one of the best events of the year for his bar and they are packed whenever Johnstown teams are playing next door.

Martella's Pharmacy has been sponsoring the Johnstown team for ten years. It's the 70th year for the tournament and the 50 year for Martella's Pharmacy. He says it is a great time event for the city and the city is great for the tournament.
