ALTOONA, BLAIR COUNTY - Hundreds of people showed up for the 20th annual Central Blair county Relay for Life.

The American Cancer Society says there are 14.5 million cancers survivors right now. Little Alexis is one of them. She was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia when she was two and a half. She's been in remission for four years.

Ashley Battisti has been coming to the Central Blair County Relay for Life for three years now with Alexis. She says it has become like another family. And while she enjoys being here and playing with her cousins, Alexis knows what this day is really for.

This year's theme is Colors of Cancer. And volunteers released different colored balloons representing the different types of cancer.  They'll announce how much money they raised this year Saturday afternoon.
