Melissa Miller and her teams have been coming here for years.
Miller said, “We love it. It's so much fun. We come down every year. “
Kaylee Smith said, “It's really cool because like not a lot of the towns do it. “
But Tyrone does, and it keeps getting bigger.
John Ramsey of Tyrone said, “When I see 2 or 3 thousand people, it kind of gets you excited.”
Teams were put to the test in at least three games during the day. Melissa's team was fighting to win their first.
Miller said, “It's still fun, no matter what we have a good time.”
Smith said, “We all are here to have fun.”
The whole town stopped for the community and parents to cheer everyone on.
In the end, the lesson of the day was more than wins and losses.
Avery Burchfield said, “Even if you win or lose, it's just about having a good time and being with your teammates and stuff.”
Organizers say there were 215 teams here, and they're always willing to take more next year.
