Having one heart attack makes you more likely to have another one, especially if you have high cholesterol, high blood pressure, or bad circulation.
Now a study that's accepting patients in our region may be able to help you with one of those risk factors. Researchers are testing a new medication for cholesterol.
The study is recruiting people 40 to 85 years old with high cholesterol, who have heart problems, such as a previous heart attack or stroke, or even poor circulation. You can take your current cholesterol drugs during the study.
