Doctors have saved a man with a rare tumor, he didn't even know he had. 76-year year old Frank Bollettieri found out about the 20 pound tumor when he had an X-ray, after a fall.

The mass, about the size of a basketball, essentially replaced the entire left half of his body. Doctors said the soft tissue cancer called a liposarcoma is extremely rare  - especially this size.
When surgeons in New York City removed the tumor, they also had to take out one of Frank's kidneys, his spleen and part of His adrenal gland.
Doctors say it's likely the tumor will grow back, so Frank is now being checked every three months. Frank's weight dropped from 185 pounds to 160 pounds after his surgery.
