ACA Enrollees Taking Expensive Drugs

Americans who've enrolled in the Affordable Care Act are taking advantage of  new prescription coverage.

Express Scripts reports that ACA enrollees are using more higher cost speciality medicines than people in commercial health plans.

The company says those medicines include treatments for HIV, multiple sclerosis, heptatitis C, pain medication, and antidepressants. However, ACA enrollees used 31-percent fewer contraceptives.
