HOLLIDAYSBURG, BLAIR COUNTY -- These Hollidaysburg area 5th and 6th graders are getting correctly fitted for their football gear needed to play in this fall' s HAYFA
league. It's the 15th season for this all volunteer parent-led organization in the Hollidaysburg Area School District. As part of the USA football national program, a clinic planned for next week will focus on a new safety program called "Heads Up Football".
As HAYFA President Scott Dimmick says, "They've come up with a plan to train kids on to hit in a new way keep their heads up to not get hit with their head down to avoid the possibility of concussions."
HAYFA also provides cheerleading programs in a safe and fun environment.
