DENTAL IMPLANTS

BONE GRAFTING
Bone Grafting procedures have almost become an integral part of Implant Reconstruction. In some cases the upper or lower jaw does not offer enough bone volume or quantity to accommodate a Rootform Implant, thus the need for Bone Grafting. Bone Grafting procedures usually try to re-establish bone dimension, which was lost due to resorption.

LASER COSMETIC TREATMENTS
Our center offers a variety of Laser Surgery procedures including Laser Hair Removal, Acne Treatments, Spider Veins, Tattoo removal, Scar Revision and treatment of age spots.

Laser surgery is a type of surgery which uses special light beams instead of instruments for surgical procedures. The light beam hits the skin, then the skin will either reflect the light away, scatter the light, absorb the light or let the light pass through the different layers of skin. Each layer of skin uses the light differently to process the treatment.

Our center offers the latest in Laser Hair Removal, and is a safe and effective way for permanent hair reduction. This procedure allows us to selectively target the hair follicles and generates a safe, yet effective amount of heat to destroy the follicles in the designated area. The laser incorporates a system for cooling your skin to remove heat as it leaves the follicles. This cooling feature allows us to provide treatment on all skin types, in all areas of the body. Following treatment you should expect redness and swelling in the treated areas. This is a natural phenomenon caused by the irritation of the hair follicles and should subside within a few hours after treatment. You should avoid any sort of trauma to the treated areas for the first 24 hours - these traumas include shaving, exfoliating, hot showers and applying topicals with active ingredients.

You should expect to have 4 to 6 treatments spaced out over a period of every 4 to 8 weeks. Each treatment will result in the reduction in the quality and quantity of hairs.

AESTHETIC SURGERY
We offer a variety of facial cosmetic treatments including Botox, Thermage, and Facial Resurfacing.

Botox is a highly purified protein which may be injected into certain muscles to relax them; thus, reducing or eliminating the active creases caused by te muscle contraction. Botox has become the state of the art treatment for unappealing forehead wrinkles, frown lines bewteen the eyebrows and crows feet.

Thermage, also known as a Thermalift, is a radio frequency device developed to transmit a radio frequency pulse into the upper layer of the skin, the epidermis. This controlled heating of the deeper layers of skin and other tissues will cause the skin to contract and tighten. An immediate effect of volumetric tissue heating is collagen contraction or shrinkage.

Facial Resurfacing or more commonly known as Chemical Peels uses the application of various agents to peel off the outer layers of the skin to reveal fresher, smoother skin. The deeper the peel, the greater the benefit.
