OUR HISTORY
On January 15, 1902 Clearfield Trust Company opened for business. In 1911, we acquired The Farmers and Traders National Bank and in 1931, purchased the Karthaus State Bank. In 1952, we were the first bank in Clearfield County to open a drive-thru window.
In 1960, with the opening of the Bridge Street Office we began to build our branch network. Clearfield Trust Company was renamed Clearfield Bank and Trust Company in February 1970. In 1973, we were the first bank in the market area to offer an ATM.
In 1974, the Philipsburg Office was added. Our Curwensville office opened in 1980, DuBois in 1988 and Goldenrod in 1997. In 2005, we acquired seven offices expanding our network into Bedford, Blair, Centre and Huntington counties.
