Jackie Padilla

Jackie Padilla joined the WTAJ News team in July 2016.

Jackie was born and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She is a 2012 graduate of St. Michael's High School and received her Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communication at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State in 2016.

While maintaining a place on ASU's Dean's List, Jackie worked for Cronkite News, the University's student-run newscast. She also was an editor and production assistant for Arizona PBS. Her love for Country music lead her to create the first-ever Country radio show for the campus radio station.

Jackie's passion for storytelling ultimately lead to a career in news.

In her free time, Jackie enjoys attending concerts, trying new restaurants and cooking. And despite any technicalities, she will tell you her favorite color is glitter.

It was a big move across the country, but Jackie is excited to be here to tell your story! You can email Jackie at jpadilla@wtajtv.com. Or, find her on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/JackiePadillaTV/) and Twitter (https://twitter.com/JackiePadillaTV)
