Photojournalist Scott Pickrell takes us to the woods of Centre County to watch the re-nesting of some baby great horned owls.
We’re happy to report that the mother did come back and is caring for all of the baby owls.
Centre Wildlife Care is located on 15 acres of land in Port Matilda. Since opening in 1995, Centre Wildlife Care has cared for and released thousands of injured, sick and orphaned wild animals back into the wild.
They are a 501c3 charity that is licensed by the Game Commission, the US Fish and Wildlife Service and the Fish and Boat Commission to care for wild animals. They operated on donations only.
