Stuff the Bus with United Way

The United Way of Blair County is launching it's annual Stuff the Bus campaign, offering free school supplies to students who need them. On today's show, Denise Allen stops by from United Way to explain how the program works, how parents and students can sign up to get school items and how you can donate to help! 

All types of school supplies are needed, especially back packs for children. 

You can also make a cash donation by contacting United Way of Blair County or donating online.

Additional Information from The United Way: Donations of school supplies will continue to be accepted through August 1st at area businesses and agencies including: Advanced Chiropractic, Altoona Area Public Library, Begin With Us Child Care & Preschool, Bellwood-Antis Public Library, Growth and Relationships of Young Professionals (of the Blair County Chamber of Commerce), Hollidaysburg Area Public Library, Kids First /Lily Pond Child Dev. Center, Kooman & Associates LLC, Logan Valley Mall, Mountain View Eye Associates,  Pennsylvania Highlands Community College (Logan Valley Mall), Roaring Spring Community Library, Second Avenue United Methodist Church, Tender Love For Children, Tyrone-Snyder Public Library, and United Way of Blair County/Family Resource Center.
