HEART

Helping Empty Arms Recover Together (HEART) of Central PA works to provide support for individuals who have experienced pregnancy loss, stillbirth, infant death and/or fertility issues.

This grief and loss support program lasts for six weeks and is for parents/couples who have experienced pregnancy loss, stillbirth or infant death. Evelyn Wald, a licensed professional counselor specializing in grief and loss, and Jackie Naginey Hook, a certified spiritual director, celebrant and former group participant will lead this group. HEART starts Monday, September 18 at CHOICES in State College. The free group will meet each Monday from 6:30 until 8:00 pm through October 23.

There is also a monthly fertility issues and loss support group which meets the second Wednesday of every month from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at CHOICES in State College.
