Class Dates: April 3, 10, 17 and 24th
Class Times: 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon
Class Location: The first three classes will be held at the
Hollidaysburg Municipal Building. The final class will be
held at Discovery Garden, Legion Park, Hollidaysburg.
*In order to keep Discovery Garden beautiful for
everyone to enjoy, participants are required to commit to
18 hours of volunteer time at the garden from May to

How gardeners can improve soil fertility through the use of cover crop, compost, and organic fertilizers; how
to expertly select, plant, and maintain landscape plants; how to apply Integrated Pest Management practices/
techniques in your garden and landscape; and how gardeners can employ best management practices through
hands-on activities at the Discovery Garden in Hollidaysburg.
