Discovery Space Children's Museum Update

Discovery Space Children’s Museum is getting a new home this fall!

The Discovery Space Children’s Museum will be moving to a bigger property on North Atherton St., which formerly housed the Keystone Church and Commercial Printing. Renovations are underway and will go through the summer. The tentative opening date is set for September. This new location will allow the museum to fill more requests for field trips, birthday parties, summer camps and more! The museum will still be within walking distance from the Penn State University Park campus.

The Discovery Space Children’s Museum in Centre County has over 45 exhibits that are designed to ignite the imagination. The exhibits are rotated frequently so they always have something new! The museum also offers a variety of programs for kids of all ages.

Visit Discovery Space Children’s Museum’s current location at 112 W. Foster Ave. Suite 1 in State College. The museum is open Wednesday through Saturday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Sundays from 12:00 to 5:00 pm. Admission is just $6; children 2 and under get in free! If you become a member of Discovery Space, you’ll receive unlimited visits and discounts on birthday parties, day camps, and summer camps. Household/Family Memberships are $75; Single Parent Family and Grandparent Memberships are $65.
